We have now heard from the Council's Arboricultural Officer, Jon Lambourne. He informs us that he has selected a replacement tree for the old beech:Â "a container-grown Fagus sylvatica Purpurea" which is 4 to 5 feet tall. It will probably be planted in early November (subject to weather conditions). |
