Printing House latest: the Inspector visits

The Planning Inspector is making a site visit to the Printing House on Thursday 13th June at 10:00 a.m. The Inspector's role is to rule on the appeal made by the applicants, following the Council's refusal of their planning application.

Anyone can attend the site visit and observe proceedings. It is not a public meeting, so there will be no speeches and no real opportunity to debate the pros and cons with the Inspector. The Wincheap Action Group is sending two representatives, who are hoping at least to be able to make a few points to the Inspector. One of the things we want to impress on the Inspector is that Wincheap (contrary to what the applicants say) is a predominantly residential area. So a good showing from local residents may be helpful.
