Elite Garages wins WinSoc competition

This year's Wincheap Society Christmas Window Display competition has been won by Elite Garages. Judges from WinSoc awarded the trophy because of the window display's original use of tyres (for a tree and a snowman) and for its humour.

The runner-up was the display by Coombs (the builders).

Highly commended were: The Tipsy Fish (off-licence) and The Deep Blue (Fish & Chips).

Commended were: The Clothes Line, Mario's Fish Bar and Woollard and Kent (Undertakers).

Many thanks to all those who took part and helped show the Christmas spirit in Wincheap.
